Pallavi Singh (b.1988). Currently living and working in New Delhi, India. Completed her Masters in fine art in Painting from College of Art, Delhi in 2011.

Singh’s work predominantly in the medium of painting, her style of working is research-based, where society plays the role of a social laboratory and skills like observation, conversation, travelling and personal experiences are tools, to collect information to start her work. She is interested in art as a way of thinking and understanding the world around her not only as a practitioner but also from the lenses of a viewer.
Singh is exploring the grooming culture amongst Indian men, that is showing a change from the traditional alpha male. she has approached this phenomenon from the lens of commercialization, which has played an instrumental role in facilitating this change.

She is the recipient of Artist opportunity Fellowship award for Vermont Studio Centre, USA 2019, WADe Asia-WADe India Art Award (Women Architects, Artist and Designer Awards), The Inlaks Shivdasani Foundation scholarship for Skowhegan School of painting and sculpture USA (2015) art residency, finalist of 10t​ h​ Sovereign Asian Art Prize ’13-’14, Hong Kong.
